Consider a break: Depending on the severity, if you really have plantar fasciitis, it might be best to take a break from high impact exercise while you continue low impact activity with stretching and possibly other treatments like night splints and formal physical therapy. In the long term , determining what caused your condition (training regimen, improper shoes, etc.) and avoiding that cause in the future.

Cautiously: Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the plantar fascia classically at its origin , the medial calcaneal tubercle.High impact activities in some people are part of the cause and is associated with a tightness of the fascia as well as the achilles. If you try to tough it out and continue high impact activities you can potential go on to have a stress fracture or tear. Back off for a few weeks
