When an antibiotic is labeled "don't drink with milk" is it also referring to milk consumption throughout the day or just as you take your medication?

Usually in proximity: Typically, this means not to drink milk an hour before and until an hour after taking your medication.

With the meds: It is referring to when you take the medication. You are ok to drink milk after a couple hours. Note: this does not apply to meds that say not to consume with alcohol!

With med: I would suggest you should take the med at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after dairy.

As you take it: The calcium in the milk might complex with the medicine and prevent absorption.
