Not really: The amount of radiaton that you get in a chest xray is really not very much in comparison to something like a ct scan. Repeated chest xrays are routine to track the progress of many conditions. Sometimes daily, sometimes annually. I wouldn't want to get them for fun, but if your physician is using them to track the progress of a pneumonia, etc. I wouldn't give it a second thought.
