Hyperthyroidism: Exercise and some supplements are safe and good for you. I would avoid supplements that contain iodine. A healthy life style and healthy diet are very important. Do not smoke or use illicit drugs, and do not inhale second hand smoke.

Yes, be Careful: If you are on medication for hyperthyroidism, or any medications, you should always check with your doctor before taking any supplements. Some supplements can definitely interfere with medications.
