I advise both!: It is always best to get nutrients from diet ; one advantage food sources of c have is they have bioflavonoids ; other nutrients as well. Many other foods have good sources of c too- see http://www.Healthaliciousness.Com/articles/vitamin-c.Php but i advise 1000 mg of c 2x/day ; it's hard to get that much from food. Synthetic c is identical to natural c but much is from gmo corn- see comment:.
