Exam: An orthopedic surgeon can examine you and obtain xrays and determine how much rom loss is due to your arthritis in your neck and how much is due to 'tight muscles'.As we age some loss of motion in joints is predictable and normal; facet joint arthritis and other changes in the cervical spine will cause greater loss of motion. My experience w/tight muscles etc.Causing rom loss is limited in 60 yo.
