A member asked:

What is the treatment for ulnar and radial nerve compression?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Non-surgical first: Compression of the ulnar and radial nerves can produce pain, numbness, weakness in certain muscle groups. Diagnosis is made from the clinical exam, and confirmed by EMG studies. Typically, the symptoms are treated with anti- inflammatory medications, reduced activity, splinting. Ulnar nerve decompression can be performed surgically for severe symptoms. Radial nerve decompression is less common.
