Probably not: I am confused by the description. If you are talking about a cyst or fluid mass around your knee, that is probably secondary to continued joint irritation causing fluid build up. In rare instances, irritation to the tissues from the metal or plastic inserts cause a reaction, which may cause the formation of bone cysts around the implant. In either case, it is not an implant defect.
