What kind of prescription medicine could show up as meth in a drug test?.

It depends: It depends on the type of drug test and the test manufacturer. For example, are you talking about a urine drug screen? If so, what type of urine drug screen. I can say that most of the tests are now pretty good at excluding prescription drugs that can cause a false positive. For example, many tests will exclude even adderrall and other amphetamines from causing a positive test for methamphetamine.

Depends: If by "meth" you are referring to amphetamines, there are a number of prescriptions legitimately in use that are amphetamines. These include certain, but not all medication used for adhd, and appetite suppressants. If you are referring to "crystal meth" that too will be picked up by all screens testing for amphetamines.
