Tendonitis: Yes there are tendons there. It is possible you are suffering from an overuse syndrome, caused by repetitive movements, or a strain injury. In either event, both lead to localized inflammation and pain. Treatment options include immobilization of the area for 3 days, rest, anti inflammatories such as motrin.

See Dr.: With your symptoms and history of cts, you certainly are at risk of getting some resultant tendon issues and or accompanying muscle aches, etc. Best for you to get a physical examination of the area to get a true diagnosis and the best treatment will then follow.
