A member asked:

I feel pain in my right upper side or stomach area. what is this. is it gas or galbladder. constant pain lately.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to tell: You really need a formal doctor visit to figure this out. Gallbladder pain is typically in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen, and often radiates toward to back. It is classically made worse about a half hour after eating, especially fatty foods. Not everyone has this classic picture however, and you need a more thorough exam and maybe an ultrasound. Hope this helps!
