Influenza: There are different strains of influenza a virus with which you can become infected, as well as influenza b and parainfluenza and other similar viruses. Being infected with one does not necessarily convey immunity to others. Without knowing how you were tested for the influenza virus or whether you were just assuming that was what was causing your symptoms there is no way to predict numbers.
