A member asked:

How early in age can someone get heart failure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually Elderly: Most heart failure in the us occurs in elderly people as a result of recognized or silent coronary blood flow problems, generally at advanced ages. However, there are rarer causes of heart failure, including infectious, congenital, and "idiopathic" or unknown cause, that can affect much younger patients, even children and otherwise healthy young adults depending on cause.
