Every now & then i find small dry spots on my arm very itchy sometimes. i keep them lotioned & clean. what causes this?

Could be eczema...: With skin conditions, its always hard to diagnose without a physical exam and thorough history. However, what you have could be eczema - basically translates to chronic dry inflammed skin. Sometimes it appears as dry patches of skin. Keeping your skin well moisturized will help this. Applying something natural like jojoba oil before getting out of the shower while skin is still wet might help.
