You need to discuss : You need to discuss with your cardiologist. He or she will look at your breathing, your lungs, your blood vessels, the presence or absence of blood clots, the stability of the surgical repair, the status and strength of your heart muscle, your general physical conditioning, your medications and your general health. There can also be non - cardiac issues that may be impacting your symptom.

ECHOCARDIOGRAM: If the echocardiogram shows no mitral leak and no gradient across the mitral and excellent contractility, normal sinus rhythm and normal pa pressures, then heart ok. Also need to check for pleural effusions, phrenic nerve palsy, delayed pericardial effusions. If all that ok, nothing to be concerned. Feeling should improve within a years time.
