Male infertility: Clomid (clomiphene) is a selective estrogen receptor modulator. In certain males it can increase the production of lh and fsh by the pituitary gland which then stimulates the testicle to produce more testosterone. The testosterone produced by the testicle can then increase male secondary sexual characteristics such as facial hair. Clomid (clomiphene) is not used very often to treat male infertiilty.
