A member asked:

What are the causes for chills and sweats during the day and night?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fever: Chills are the body's way of generating an increased temperature under the influence of the hypothalamus responding to fever inducing stimuli. Sweats are one way for the body to relieve elevated temps. You sound as if you are running daily fevers. See an infectious diseases expert if possible, or start with your primary care doctor. Good luck, and do not ignore this.
