Boils or abscesses: need incision and drainage not lidex. Lidex (fluocinonide) gel is a topical corticosteroid that can decrease inflammation, itching, dryness and redness of skin. It may be used for treating conditions such as psoriais, atopic dermatitis, eczema, lichen planus, inflammatory dermatoses or mild burns.
