A member asked:

Is it possible for you to fly on plane if you have a collaped lung?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Very dangerous to fly on plane with pneumothorax which is the most common cause of "collapsed" lung. The lower air pressure at altitude causes the pneumothorax to get larger and prevents normal lung from expanding.
