See answer: Though it is quite uncommon and the exact reason is unclear, ibuprofen has been reported to cause burning with urination (dysuria). Certainly, if the dysuria persisted, one should consider other causes, most commonly a UTI. A greater concern and much more common problem is for excessive or prolonged use of ibuprofen, and NSAIDs in general, to cause impaired kidney function and renal injury.

Here is ...: Yes, about 0.5% of ibuprofen users reported experiencing burning urination while taking ibuprofen as noted in http://www.ehealthme.com/mobile-support-group-of-ibuprofen-and-painful-urination. But there is no way for anyone to predict who may feel burning urination at what dose. So, personal off-and-on uses may tell the story. Best wishes ...
