If left untreated it: Is possible. Pinworm symptoms can include gastrointestinal upset, anal or vaginal itchiness, loss of appetite, difficulty sleeping, irritability, restlessness. Untreated pinworm infection can lead to weight loss, diarrhea, genital rash, urinary incontinence and vaginal discharge.
