No: I would strongly advise you against swimming or taking a bath. On the other hand if you cover your catheter exit site with plastic wrap and tape you can take a shower.

Swimming and PD: Yes - but the quality of the water matters; do not swim in ponds or small lakes or where city drains empty into ocean; swim in chlorine pool or clean ocean area; be sure you secure PD catheter and then change dressing and clean exit site immediately after you are done. Avoid trauma.

Yes: Only once it heals well after initial insertion. Three to six months minimum. You still need to be very careful with it
