Yes: Ovulation happens before fertilization; there is no way to tell except to do a pregnancy tests around the next expected period.

Please Clarify: I take your use of the word 'fertilization' as being impregnated. An ovulated egg that is fertilized becomes a pregnancy and ovulation stops until the pregnancy is over.
