Yes: You can drink anything you want with a ureteral stent, but how much beer are we talking about? Safe drinking limits in women are no more than one standard drink (a 12 oz. Beer) daily. Alcohol impairs healing after any surgical procedure, and also decreases our immune response to infection, so if the stent were just placed, i would not recommend it. If you are drinking more, consider counseling.
