Best not to.: Regarding alcoholic beverages and interaction with Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) xr (a long acting 10-12 hour preparation of mixed amphetamine salts) the drug interaction advisory notes: generally avoid: ethanol may potentiate the cardiovascular effects of amphetamines.
