Doesn't cause acne: If you mean garden variety acne -- scattered pimples, blackheads, etc in various areas of the face, especially in oily areas like th nose, forehead, etc -- the answer is no. Herpes (either HSV1 or 2) doesn't behave like that. If you were orally exposed to someone's genital HSV2, you could develop herpes outbreaks in that area. Typical herpes outbreaks are quite a bit different than acne pimples.
