I am not familiar: With the term "grumbling appendix." appendicitis is an infection that can begin as vague mid abdominal discomfort that gradually moves into the right lower abdomen. The right lower abdomen pain becomes worse over 24-48 hours with nausea ; maybe fever or vomiting. Chronic appendicitis with right lower abdomen pains that come ; go over a longer time is extremely rare ; some believe is nonexistent.
