Pain fever: Typically pain in the right lower abdomen associated with tenderness. Fever is noted in most (but not all patients). Many patients lose their appetite and some vomit. Diarrhea occurs in a few patients. Any questions should prompt a doctor's visit (or er) for a physical exam and tests if indicated.
