Keep it clean by...: Washing with soap and water 1-2 times/day and applying Bacitracin ointment after washing (small amount; can buy without prescription. Cover with a bandaid or dry gauze. Should be healed in less than two weeks...If not, see your doctor.

It just needs...: To heal up. I would apply traumeel cream (or ointment) to help promote healing. It is homeopathic and available online or at most whole foods stores. This is anecdotal, but I have been personally using it for myself my family and my patients for 25 years. It is very safe, so you can apply it as often as you want. Sometimes i will apply it four or five times a day on cuts on myself.
