It could be: Mittleschmertz-pain associated w release of an egg from the ovary, but usually occurs mid cycle. Other possible causes include colon problems (diverticulitis), kidney stones, ectopic pregnancy, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc, etc. It is impossible to know without an exam ; more info than can be covered here. If accompanied by fever, discharge, worsening or persistent pain, please see a doctor.
