Ganoderma: Ganoderma lucidum is a mushroom that has all kinds of magical cures, none of which has been substantiated. I would therefore not recommend it.

Not entirely: As with many 'natural medicines', there are to date, no solid studies evaluating this fungus. Has been used in chinese medicine, under supervision of trained practitioners for years. Can decrease blood pressure (not good for those w nl bp, and thin the blood (not good for everyone). May interfere with chemotherapy for cancer. Please use only after consultation w/ a qualified provider.
