Traveling Diarrhea: Without fever or blood i would first advise a simple drug such as immodium. Dosing would be 4 mg every two hours as needed up to 32 mg/day. But, of course not to use the medicine after the first dose unless the diarrhea persists. Antibiotics in that part of the world are often easy to obtain and we often use Cipro (ciprofloxacin) or Levaquin as first line if there is fever and/or bleeding.
