Clarify: I'm sorry, I am not clear on how frequently u were taking the higher dose of the concerta, or what u experienced the first time that did not occur subsequently. Can u clarify what were your expectations?

May need change: It depends on how old you were when you first took Concerta 18 mg a day. If you were younger and much smaller, then it may have been an effective dose for adhd. As you get older, you may need adjustments in your regimen. Perhaps, an increase to 72 mg a day of conerta or higher may help or a change to a different medicine like strattera, wellbutrin (bupropion) or adderall. Let your doctor know what works.
