Hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids are swollen veins at the anus . These are external hemorrhoids. The one swollen veins inside are internal. They are pretty painful and uncomfortable. They can bleed. You say, you have just two hard balls. No, it is not normal. In any case, please see your doctor for thorough examination. Thanks.

Sounds like that: The findings of protrusion of firm or soft tissue after defecation along with resolution of those protrusions after some period of time, is consistent with hemorrhoids at your age. Older female patients can present with rectal prolapse. The treatment is stool softeners in the form of dietary or supplemental fiber, fluids (water) and exercise (walking). If they persist, they can be removed.
