?where.what kind?: If u have an 'extra bone' on the side of your knee @your age(inside) you and your parents should have it looked at by a bone specialist(orthopedist).You may have an osteochondroma .These are benign (non-cancerous )growths which are common on the distal femur inside(medial) and can cause pain w/knee flexion as the quadriceps muscle gets' stretched'over it.Excision can be helpful.See orthopedist!
