How do you properly use an at home nebulizer?

1-2-3: All nebulizers are different but here are the basics. 1. Open the plastic thing with liquid inside. This contains med, so careful not to spill. 2. Pour into hole at top ; close lid. Turn on machine. 3. Put mask on ; breathe normally until vapor stops. Normally around 5-15 min depending on med ; machine.

Nebulizer technique: Ensure it is clean (use manufacturer solution or dilute vinegar and air dry it). Put solution in mouth piece container and hook up to power. Turn it on. It'll mist the medicine. Breathe it in normally. Once every 2-3 minutes take a deep inhale then go back to berthing normally. Some nebulized medicines can be combined and others can't. If side effects (tremor), use half the vial and tell your dr.
