Urethral stricture: Or bladder neck obstruction would explain such prolonged urination ; > likely stricture cos voiding followed by dribble. U require a retrograde urethrogram x-ray to localize stricture as well as cystoscopic examination. Stricture could be corrected by an optical urethrotomy, provided stricture very short. Open urethroplasty indicated if stricture to wide for urethrotomy. Need experienced urologist.

Need 2 see urologist: Urinating for 15 - 20 minutes is very prolonged ; abnormal ; most likely due a urethral stricture. This would also account for your post-void dribble. You probably need a retrograde urethrogram x-ray ; certainly cystoscopy. A very short structure (narrowing) can be corrected by optical urethrotomy followed by temporary catheterization till healed. Longer stricture requires open surgery. Good luck.
