Anxiety is not: A common symptom of hypothyroidism. If your brand name T4 replacement has brought your thyroid levels back to normal, then there is no need to change replacement and you need to look for other possible causes of your symptoms.

Maybe: If your hypothyroidism is well controlled - your TSH ; T4 are within normal limits and your other symptoms are controlled - then perhaps anxiety is not secondary to that condition. Talk it over with your gp, it might be good to start on an ssri for anxiety like paroxetine.
