Not recommended: Would not recommend it. See a dermatologist, however sometimes all it takes to drop a scab is a good soak. Try an epsom salt soak to progress healing. If the scab is pre-ready to go epsom salt will help to relieve any tenderness remaining in the area and decrease redness of the skin which may be inflamed or irritated.

See your derm doc: Six years is a long time to suffer from scabbing pimples. Picking at them makes scarring worse and causes the scabs. You need to stop picking. You may have a type of obsessive-compulsive disorder if you cannot stop. See your dermatologist first to be sure your acne is under control; if you can't stop picking, then you will need psychiatric help!
