Stay active, see Dr: Staying active is important, but if severe or limiting your activities of daily life (adl's), then you should see a dr. To get a program developed that includes exercise, therapy, medications, possible weight loss, etc. In severe cases, people may need hip replacements to better their outcomes. Best wishes.

Many things: The most important fact to know is what kind of arthritis you have. Generically using pain medication like tylenol (acetaminophen) or using anti inflammatory medication weight loss can bechelpful as well. Physical therapy to strengthen the muscle around the joint are also important.
