Please Clarify: I would bet this question has a thousand different answers. There are a thousand different kinds of soups and a million different patients with different issues if they have hypertension and/ or diabetes. It is best to be specific. If your physician advises low sodium then canned soup is probably out of the question. If you have diabetes you very well may be advised to avoid carbohydrates.
