Is it possible too have strep throat with no fever and only moderate sore throat that's really red? no other symptoms just sore throat last 2 days

Difficult issue: On one hand 5-30% of the population can carry the strep germ in their throat at any point without getting ill, and most sore throats are viral or based on irritant exposure. If those patients are seen and a test is done, strep will be found. A better way to prove it made them sick would be serum testing then and in two weeks that shows a body response, not practical. Without fever i would doubt it.

Although that sounds: Viral - I have had strep throat twice with no fever, moderate sore throat and no swollen lymph nodes. A strep throat test/ culture will rule it in or out. Take care.
