Is oxycodone stronger than hydrocodone? doctor switched me from oxycodone to hydrocodone. i took the same size dose but i feel like i'm withdrawing.

Yes : Oxycodone is about 30% stronger than hydrocodone. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms and what to do next. Opiod withdrawal is unpleasant but not dangerous.

Slightly more potent: Oxycodone is perhaps 25% more potent than hydrocodone. The slight reduction in dose is very unliky to produce marked abstenence syndrome (withdrawal) symptoms.
