Cholesterol: 300 is quite a high level for total cholesterol. Coenzyme q10 probably won't hurt, but it may be time to consider switching to a more potent statin like Lipitor (atorvastatin) or crestor (rosuvastatin). Also, having a healthy diet and exercising regularly is important.

Statin: We generally have individual targets for total cholesterol, LDL and HDL for each individual. For many we would consider cholesterol over 300 to be too high. Discuss your levels with your doctor and question whether additional steps or dosage increases are needed.
