A member asked:

Went to doc had couple of bumps toward bottom of vaginia on outside. she said it wasn't herppes. but they haven't gone away they don't hurt. concern?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A few ideas: Bumps on the outside of the vagina could be sebaceous cyst (benign), condyloma (result of contact with hpv, typically benign), follicultis (infection of hair follicle... Basically, acne, benign), or std related lesion or pre-cancer. If your doctor told you they weren't herpes, did she say what the bumps were? Make sure you have an answer. You can request medical record or see doctor again.
