Why does hematoma tingle and give sudden jolts of pain?

Pressure: A hematoma usually occurs after trauma and the blood leaks to form a clot under the skin. That can cause pressure over the already injured area and even on the nerve that runs along side the vein. It is helpful to elevate and ice if it just occurred.
