No: Cysts are normal, to a point. That is, most women will have some small cysts on their ovaries at any given time, these are physiological cysts. What's not normal is a cyst > 4cm or so. These cause pain/pressure, pulling sensation. Often cysts resolve on their own. No meds are helpful for cysts, solely surgery if they are large/uncomfortable. Some women take birth control to prevent, but +/- helps.
