Splenomegaly: An enlarged spleen usually is a reflection of some underlying disease process, and there are many possibilities. There are not many symptoms directly attributable to an enlarged spleen other than right upper quadrant pain and tenderness w possible radiation to the shoulder, sometime hiccoughs, anemia, fatigue, frequent infections and easy bleeding.
