It is possible that: There is a nerve impingement secondary to the position she may keep at night such as laying down. It may be prudent to have an emg/ncv but i would suggest having the test performed while she is in the same position that causes the problem.

Hot feet: Could be a nerve impingement or related to the core temperature maintenance of the body. At night or with rest the blood flow diminishes somewhat to the extremities and it could be an aberrant response to that . Either way , an evaluation is indicated.
