How can i tell if i have a minor meniscus tear?

Pain with activity : Small meniscus tears can be asymptomatic. Meniscus tears can cause pain with flexion of the knee, twisting motions, stair climbing, kneeling and exercise. Night pain is also very common and not being able to put your knees together. There are many causes of knee pain and you would need to be examined by an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation and possibly an MRI scan.

Pain.: You may have pain at the joint line, or swelling of the knee. You may not be very limited in your activities if you have a small tear. The only way to really know, is to be evaluated bu an orthopedist, and an MRI may need to be ordered.
